Basic Information[]
Ares is a character that features in The Town of Roleplay. His parents are Zeus and Hera, his sons are Phobos and Deimos and he has a number of other siblings, half-siblings, cousins, and various other relatives. He is a Greek god of war and an Olympian. As he is a god of war, vultures follow him everywhere he goes as lots of death always comes where he carries his sword. As of the Space Turtle Calamity, he is the last of the Greek Gods and the god watching over the southeast, encompassing Africa, Australia and some of the pacific islands.
History[]
Ares was born on Mount Olympus 58,000,000 years ago. He went to school with other gods like Thor, Triton, Cú Chulainn, Hermes, Athena, Hephaestus, Persephone, Horus, Sif, Baldr, and Dionysus. He, Thor, Horus, Triton, and Cú Chulainn formed a very close friend group. When Ares was roughly 8.5 million years old, he and Aphrodite had an affair and so Phobos and Deimos were born out of it, but it would be a couple more million years before he finished his education and became the Greek god of war. He continued having an affair with Aphrodite even after the two were exposed and punished for it, and he has been in a number of other relationships too. During the times of Ancient Greece, he would be in disguise among the Spartans who he was popular with, giving them a number of things that helped them. Thousands of years later, he would turn up in Town, and, wanting to be a major character, he temporarily broke the 4th wall to accomplish this. He would play video games with Kate a few times. During the Space Turtle Calamity he was one of the only 4 gods worshipped by humanity who actually survived the conflict, and the last of the Greek pantheon. In fact, the last of the Space Turtle army was killed by Ares himself. He claimed territory to watch over later, and he currently endorses the warlords living in his sphere of influence.
Personality[]
Ares is usually very brash and bold, but he describes it as courageousness. He is also very stubborn, impulsive, and has anger issues, which causes him to make irrational decisions sometimes. Despite this, he is a very good tactician for war and battle and appreciated the Spartans and their devotion to war. Not much is known of how Ares raised his children but since they seemed to not have any negative thoughts on him it can be assumed he raised them responsibly. Ares was always jealous of Athena, who was Zeus’s favorite.
