General Information[edit | edit source]

Thor is a Norse god featuring in TToR as a prominent character, the husband of Sif, and the father of Mothi, Magni, and Thrúd. He also is the adoptive father of Jason. He goes on many adventures and was known to be a very close friend of Carno and his family.

History[edit | edit source]

Before TToR[edit | edit source]

Thor was born in a small village 58 million years ago. His parents were Odin and Jörd, but he wouldn’t know who his father was until he was 17 when he accidentally struck down several people and was guided to Asgard by Odin’s ravens at the command of their master. On Asgard, Thor was warmly welcomed and accepted into the Aesir. Thor would attend school with his brothers, with most of his time being spent with Triton, Cú Chulainn, Ares, and Horus, and the five created their own exclusive club called “The Tribulus”, which they were the main five members of, but other fun-loving, violent or trickster gods would join, causing him to also become friends with Sif, Hermes(who left after a while), and Hephaestus. They all liked bullying demigods for fun. Thor even dated Athena for a few thousand years, but according to him, “it was more of a physical attraction. She wasn’t a fan of [his] reckless funloving behavior and [he] wasn’t too interested in her calm, quiet and smart personality, so [they] mutually agreed to split”. Thor would then develop a crush on Persephone, but that ended as soon as she married Hades. One time, for a school project, Thor, Triton and Cú Chulainn partnered up, but their project nearly resulted in the destruction of Atlantis, something Triton’s father wasn’t too pleased about. Another time, after school, Thor and Triton wandered around a forest in Midgard, where they came across the house of Angrbroda. They were greeted by a friendly young girl, a wolf pup and a baby snake, and they liked each other. Thor, after learning the father of the girl, pup and snake was an Aesir, he wanted to do a family reunion for them, eventually learning it was Loki who was the father, but he made the mistake of discussing it with him in the same room as Odin, and so the allfather went back there with Thor, Loki and Triton and doomed the three to have terrible lives. Thor still regrets it to this day. One day, Loki shaved the hair of Sif as a joke, knowing she was a good friend of Thor, but the thunder god demanded he fix it or be beaten to a bloody pulp. Loki complied, getting not only a wig to temporarily replace it, but also a new hammer for Thor, as well as a couple gifts for Odin and Freyr, who he owed to for other recent things. On the last year of school, Thor decided he would bring his friend group back to its former glory, and so reunited all the members on the epic quest to get a lover. Thor would succeed, with Sif becoming his wife as soon as he graduated. Thor was then officially able to be a major god now that he was done with school, and became a god of thunder, strength, courage, and war. One night, he got very drunk and hooked up with the giantess Járnsaxa, who legitimately thought he was a human. She still didn’t mind after figuring out who he actually was, and in fact became a servant of his. However, she gave birth to the twin brothers Magni and Mothi. This caused some tensions between Thor and his wife, but they worked things out by having a daughter of their own; Thrúd. After that, Thor had many adventures, such as the battle with Hrungnir, confrontation with Skymir, battling Jörmungandr, retaking his hammer from Thrym and helping a couple of time travelers get back home. At some point, Thor would also disguise himself as the king of Hole to have sex with the man’s wife. One day, Thor would get bored of life as it was and set out to explore the rest of the land, eventually stumbling across town when trying to find his hammer after he lost it by mistake.

The First Crusade[edit | edit source]

Thor by this point had befriended characters like Fiery Carnotaurus and Jim, while he had formed a minor rivalry with other deities but he would put those aside. However, he quickly became a use during the first crusade where he helped fight off several enemies of his friends‘. Later, he would join them in the celebration of their victory and would join more crusades later down the line.

Inviting other Norse gods[edit | edit source]

Thor decided to invite some older friends of his, mainly his wife Sif as well as Baldr, but the latter refused. At some point, his sons found his location but put off finding him so they could continue looting Scandinavia.

From then on[edit | edit source]

Thor would become a spectator but also occasionally involve himself in conflicts, and also took a phone call from Carno’s wife Jessica after the latter needed to be saved and nobody was there to do it. Thor revealed the information to the group, prompting Carno to spring back into action despite his raptor form. Thor had also been reunited with his sons, who continue to loot the town. Thor also helped Carno get his daughter back after Loki kidnapped her. He then continued life as normal. He would take part in several conflicts but was not present to see Carno die. Eventually he stole the time machine and saw the future. He assembled a group of gods consisting of himself, Cronus, Sobek, Quetzalcoatl, and someone he thought was a god. Eventually, they worked together to kill the dolphin, his goons, and the interdimensional 4th-wall being the storyteller, essentially freeing their fates. Thor would later go on to adopt a new kid.

The Alternate Timeline[edit | edit source]

In the future, Thor would get mad at Hephaestus for an invention that he made, two armies. One is revealed to be the crab people army but the other hasn’t been seen yet. Thor is mad due to the fact that many of his mortal friends were betrayed and killed by the second army, but then after Hephaestus proposes a way to avenge them and overthrow the current power structure, Thor accepts and will become the leader of the third army. He narrowly fails though and is forced to sell all his things, go under the radar, and become homeless. He is then brought into a newer resistance movement where he gets all his gear back and helps make the new resistance more successful. This future was avoided when Thor saw that this timeline lead to the end of days and prevented it before it could even happen.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Thor is generally relaxed and prefers to spend his time drinking. He also likes watching conflicts and intervenes when the side he roots for isn’t winning. Back in the era the Norse gods were worshipped, Thor was a more brutal and harsh individual, who wanted his rival, the Midgard serpent Jörmungandr, to be killed. He also never cared about morals when he was ordered to bring about the near extinctions of several powerful humanoid species such as depth-lurkers and void giants. Since that era though, he slipped into a lifestyle matching others and so his personality then was nothing unique. Later, he grew to care more about the world. He developed a friendship with the rest of Carno’s family as well. He is well known as one of their closest and most powerful allies, and as they have a deep respect for him, he has a deep respect for them as well.

Strengths and Weaknesses[edit | edit source]

Strengths[edit | edit source]

  • Strength - Thor is naturally the strongest of the Aesir, physically speaking. This allows him to carry weapons like Mjölnir.
  • Durability - Thor is not only strong enough to, but also durable enough to battle the likes of Jörmungandr.
  • Storms - As a god of lightning, thunder and storms, Thor can create lightning strikes and create storms as he pleases.

Weaknesses[edit | edit source]

  • Lack of immunity - Come Ragnarök, Thor is said to kill Jörmungandr in a fight but still be killed by the venom it spewed after its venom sacks broke from a powerful strike by Mjölnir. This means thor isn’t immune to the venom of the snake.
  • Quick to anger - Thor has a short temper when he isn’t drunk and this can easily be used to turn him against some people.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Thor is portrayed by Fiery Carnotaurus
  • Thor is Carno’s favorite of the Norse gods
  • Thor was never meant to be a major character, but ended up becoming one anyways
  • Thor supposedly had various phone numbers in his contacts, including those from Jessica, Carno, and Jim. It is probably just in case anyone needed his protection, as his job was to protect the mortal races.
